Tetricus I (270 - 274CE)

Tetricus I (270 - March 274CE). Gaius Pius Esuvius Tetricus became Augustus of the Gallic Empire through the influence of Victoria, mother of Victorinus, shortly after the latter's murder. He abdicated and surrendered to Aurelian in 273, and was allowed to live an honored life in Rome. He was the last of the Gallic emperors.
