Titus (23 June 79 - 13 September 81CE).  On June 23, 79, Titus Flavius Caesar Vespasianus Augustus became the first  emperor to succeed his own father.  He was considered a good and benevolent emperor, best known for completing the Colosseum and for his generosity in relieving the disasters of the Mt. Vesuvius eruption of 79 and a Rome fire in 80.  He died of a fever on September 13, 81 and was deified by the Senate.
